Ingredients

For the crust
2 packs ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)
For the creamy filling
500 ml heavy cream (cold)
250 g cream cheese or mascarpone
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp gelatin powder + 3 tbsp water
250 g fresh strawberries (chopped)
For decoration
Whipped cream
Fresh strawberries

Instructions

Prepare the gelatin
Mix the gelatin with water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Then microwave for 10โ€“15 seconds until dissolved.
Make the creamy filling
In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until fluffy.
Add cream cheese, condensed milk, and vanilla.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
Add the dissolved gelatin and mix well.
Add strawberries
Fold the chopped strawberries into the cream mixture.
Assemble the cake
Line a bowl with ladyfinger biscuits.
Pour in the creamy strawberry filling.
Cover the top with more biscuits.
Chill
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
Serve
Turn the cake onto a plate.
Decorate with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
